3-star Edwardian sea view hotel with award-winning dining and private event spaces
Dining
Restaurant No 43 serves award-winning cuisine by a chef who prepares dishes such as Tempura Prawns and Roasted Cannon of Lamb. The Ocean Bar & Terrace offers afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones, plus a lighter lunch menu. A traditional Sunday lunch is also available in the seaview restaurant.
Rooms & Architecture
The Edwardian building has Roman-inspired pillars and curved balconies that overlook the sea and landscaped gardens. All rooms offer either sea or garden views, with some room types having large private balconies. Each room includes a flat-screen TV with Freeview, a seating area, and a tiled en suite bathroom with Rituals products.
Events & Weddings
The hotel provides wedding and event planning services co-ordinated by a dedicated team including Brian and Hannah. The Library room holds up to 30 guests for private celebrations, with exclusive use options for weddings. Events are set on the lawn with the sea as backdrop, and the hotel co-ordinates with external suppliers for DJs and photo booths.
Location
The hotel is less than a mile from Bournemouth town centre and a 5-minute walk from the seafront. Bournemouth Rail Station is within a mile, and Sandbanks, a popular peninsula, is a 15-minute drive away. Bus services run frequently from near the hotel to Boscombe and the pier.
